Well, last night we received another episode of Heroes. I have to say, I am getting a little tired of the story line in Heroes. I will continue to watch it, but they had better have something good up their sleeve and they better have it soon. To begin the episode we find Suresh doing tests on Monica who of course has adaptive muscle mimicking. Bob then instructs Suresh to inject her with a strain of the virus which he refuses to do and then destroys all the vials. Yawwwinnnggg....yeah I know..so far so boring right...yep! We we also begin the episode with Claire's story. She is trying out for cheerleading but the girl in charge does not seem to like her very much and basically tells her to take a hike. To make a long story short, Claire and Wes decide to pull a prank on her to humiliate her. It was a super lame prank. He basically flies in wearing a mask and drops Claire from a height to make her appear dead. Of course she heals herself but the cheerleader tells the cops and she looks as though she has gone crazy and since she was drunk she gets kicked off the squad and arrested. Now Claire is officially on the squad.
Speaking of Claire, we get to see her Father interrogate Ivan (which is apparently why they went to the Ukraine) about the remaining paintings done by Isaac. We find out that Ivan is actually Mr. Bennett's mentor and taught him everything he knows. Well, unfortunately, he taught him all to well and Bennett knows that Ivan must die if he is to escape unnoticed. Bennett shoots him after using threats of memory erasing to get his information. Finally we get to see the paintings but it is nothing very revealing from what I could see (there was one with a sword fight between Kensei and Hiro).
Kensei and Hiro rescue the girls father from White Beard and try to destroy some guns that the father made for the tyrant (who plans to over throw the emperor no less). On their escape Hiro teleports himself and the girl away to rescue her. She figures out that he is the one who has actually done all the things for her and that he was the one in the Cherry Blossom field. They kiss....but look...Kensei lies in wait. Kensei sees this and is extremely mad to say the least..he gives them all up to white beard and this is where their scene ends.
Syler's story is always a little more interesting. He, Maya and Alejandro make it to the US Border only to be met by some locals defending the border and Syler convinces Maya to use her power to kill them and escape. Alejandro was not happy about this at all...Chill out Al, Syler knows what he is doing. The 2 then get in a fist fight in which Maya breaks up and then Syler spills the beans about his plans to Alejandro...the only problem is that Alejandro can't understand English...Syler says he plans to kill him and Maya and take their powers...Followed by typical evil guy Syler smirk.
Meanwhile, Peter and his girlfriend (kill her off already) travel to Montreal in pursuit of his future (from what they saw in the painting). He finds a note that says Peter and it is from someone named Adam (could it be the same Adam we saw on the file folder Bob was holding and he claimed was a great threat???? Probably!). At this point, they are transported to 2008 where New York is under quarantine and 93% of the worlds population is dead....Ok...OK..I get it...this is this years "nuclear bomb". Something that is in the future that the Heroes have to stop. Ok...Season 1 regurgitated. Ok, well atleast the ending was interesting. But did Peter travel there because he has time traveling capabilities from Hiro or did Matt Parkman's dad (the nightmare man) create an illusion around them. Traveling to the future is my guess because I think the nightmare man's illusions are created from your fears so really you create the nightmare yourself, he just facilitates it. This would not be a specific fear of Peter's so he probably is actually in the future.
Well, Next weeks episode definitely looks a little more interesting....For their sake I hope it is!!!

We all know that Mr. Kring loves his cliches, so I want to share a theory I heard about the ending of this episode.
Someone on a forum said that maybe the giant foreheaded Irish chick that Peter is hanging out with is able to grant wishes or something... I didn't confirm by rewatching the episode, but the person proposing this theory said that Peter said "I wish I knew what the future holds" or something right before he and the girl are transported to the "93% dead" future.
Who knows.
