Grey's Anatomy

greys-anatomy-season-4-wallpaper-small So, last night's episode was a little dry for me. With Halloween around the corner I was hoping for a little more of the crazies running around the hospital rather than the typical love drama they have going. The only thing that was remotely interesting, surgically speaking, was a man came into the hospital wanting his left foot amputated because it didn't "belong" to him, even though medically speaking, it was perfectly healthy. Taking matters into his own hands he manages to find a chain saw lying around from another patient that came in with a cut off thumb and begins to saw off his foot, leading to his ultimate wish, to have it amputated. That was the end of that, no explanation. Moving on, Meredith brings her mother's ashes, that has been stashed in her closet, to work in order to put her to "rest" and out of her life. Along the way, she manages to hustle up some surgeons, nurses, and an OR etc...to help Dr. Sloan "create" some ears for a kid, pro-bono. Dr. Yang does a great job getting on the NEW cardio surgeon's "good side," NOT. Once again, she is her rude and cold self and has a long road to "recovery" with the new doctor, Dr. Erica Hahn. A bunch of smiles and loving looks were seen between George and Izzy, but nothing is final at this point. Alex receives a surprise visit by Eva and they finally become intimate with eachother, only to lose eachother again. Is this for good, who knows. :) Shepherd/McDreamy is now "back on the market" and the women are all out for the hunt. Good hunting, ladies. Finally, the episode concludes with Meredith and the Chief washing her mother's ashes down a surgical sink; the only place Meredith knew she'd be happy. "Ashes to ashes, dust to dust."
